We at Future Lore Studios make it our mission to continually provide the best and most exciting Legions Realms at War Trading Card Game experience possible. We do this with fun, exciting, interactive, and flavourful cards to sling across the table at your opponent.

We are continually pushing the lines on the design and interactivity of our cards within the flow of our ever evolving game play. We are very proud of all we have accomplished within the first 1000+ unique cards of our starting card pool, and really look forward to its expansion, along with our player base!

We have a great testing team here at Future Lore Studios, that only grows with each set release. Being a game with an eternal (non-rotational) style, we need to keep factoring in all the various combinations of cards, their interactions with themselves and others, for both competitive and eventually multiplayer formats. Prideful of our testing team thus far, we believe that they have done an amazing job at making a very fun, interactive, and balanced game, after 4 major product releases. So going forward, like in all games, there will be a growing emphasis to uphold this great start, with consistent positive steps forward in development. This is the reason why we are implementing and maintaining the following list, as a continual act of good faith with our flourishing community.

We are open to feedback, and ongoing community discussion, in order to give everyone the best game possible. We are doing that through the continued updates to the Watchlist.

The Watchlist

The introduction and maintenance of this list is purely for transparency reasons between us and our growing Legions Realms at War TCG Community. This is a conscience formation of a road map focused on the understanding of interactions with cards and functionality within our ever growing card pool.

Being an Eternal Format Trading Card Game, means we will not implement a 'Rotation' into our card pool or set releases. Therefore, like other non rotating games in our industry, we fully intend to 'keep on the pulse' of our growing casual/competitive playing community. This means that, inevitably there will, and already has, come a time for the creation and enforcement of card legality and eligibility as we continue to diversify the card pool for Legions Realms at War.

This Watchlist  showcases the starting point of our continued commitment to a stable, growing, healthy, and overall fun game play experience; throughout our expanding LGS Organized Play Events, both now and in the future.

This list, is in no way, a Suspended/Restricted/Limited Announcement or a Card Legality Statement. This list is a public offering to our stores and players, to highlight the cards that FLS deems to be worth a closer look or a further monitoring as our game grows.

Combo Pieces & Enablers

Below here are the current list of what we call "Combo Pieces" and "Enabler" cards. We at FLS, are watching closely as potential cards to revisit eligibility after extensive data has been collected.

As we continue to collect this data from our ongoing Season Five LGS Campaign Events, and also into our next set of larger Siege Series Events, we have been very pleased with the overall turnouts and diversity of our growing Legions Player Base! Accumulating Data from these larger scale Siege Series and Battle For Glorys, through Top 8 Decklists, have and will continue to have, a great source for where the overall game health lies. With that being said, those sources have given us the ability to monitor via this Watchlist!

Starting with the Demon Legion, we have been paying very close attention over the past couple months and have noticed that 5 different Demon cards have been popping up in various competitive lists that make up the meta game. These following cards are: "The Deeper We've Fallen", "Fallen Brimstone Sky", "Bolster The Fallen Forces", "Black Magic Mind Tremors" and "Black Magic Tome - Greed". Having these enablers dig through the deck in search of key moment swinging cards in the competitive Demon decks of the format, has become worrisome with our R&D Team. With these cards, we have been witness to competitive players using these extremely aggressive enablers, in ways not intended in their original design, to not only dig, but also allow them early game combos that punish their way through their opponent's deck in this one turn style of Demon decks of the format. We want to try our best to monitor and limit the "feels bad" emotions of potential playlines such as this, and as a result, we are placing all of them here on the visible Watchlist going forward to see which of these cards we must take action on.

With the Orc Legion, we have seen a tremendous growth in popularity for the Aggressive Boar Version of the Orc Legion since the second Siege Series Win, and we have noticed that 2 Orc Battle Deck (including the Alt Art Reprint of one of them in Frontiers) enablers have continued to be present in the meta game. These cards are of course still "Reservoirs Of Revival Ooze", and "Pride Of The Orcbane", used for digging through the deck whilst applying simultaneous board pressure, in all the competitive versions of the Orc decks of the format. As a result, we are placing it here on the visible Watchlist going forward, to see if this is a card we must take action on.

Also now looking at the Mythical Beast Legion, we have seen some promise and growth in popularity for the Aggressive Burn The World Style Phoenix Deck Version of the Mythical Beast Legion, and have noticed that a Ravaged Lands Uncommon card, called "Mystic Fire Beast Power", has been great combo piece and win con for allowing the Mythical Beast Damage Engine to really hum along and create some Turbo Fire Chicken strategies, in Aggressive versions of the Mythical Beast decks of the format. Also it is important to note that with the use of some other powerful extender cards, given in Empires On The Rise, as well as some upcoming cards in the soon to be released Guardians' Creed, we are notably putting another Ravaged Lands card on this list. That card being "Feathers In The Wind". We understand that this card is being played in both competitive lists for Sh'Lara, as well as, competitive lists for Merrisod, and we feel it is a card we need to monitor more closely. As a result, we are placing them here on the visible Watchlist going forward, to see if these are cards we must take action on.

Now looking at the Angel Legion, as we have have seen an incredible adoption of the Lost Messiah/Chaos Divine Deck of Castiel has emerged as a front runner in this newly reshaped meta game, which has been great to see another New Warlord seeing favour among the community. However, it has come to our attention that 2 cards from our set Empires On The Rise, appears to offer great early game combo potential within this deck, and we feel they specifically needs an closer look again. These cards being "Halo Of The Lost Messiah", and "Chaos Divine Reconnaissance", allowing for early to mid game stabilization and deck manipulation, producing some large advantage swings and insane counter generation. We want to monitor the ceiling of this deck a little more closely, as we approach the release of our next set Guardians' Creed. As a result, we are placing these pieces here on the visible Watchlist for now, as we are going forward; to see if they in fact are cards we must take action on.

Now looking at the Dwarf Legion, as a newcomer to the Watchlist, we have our first appearance of a Empires On The Rise Dwarf Uncommon. This card being "Alehouse Drink - Skoal" . As Ethelhime begins to grow in popularity months after the release Empires On The Rise, we have noticed skilful players in our community beginning to master intricate combos involving this card. Whether it to be primarily or indirectly exploitative, playlines that involve multiple copies of this card, can pose a potential cause for concern, as we move into the release of Guardian's' Creed. As a result, we are placing it here on the visible Watchlist for now, as we are going forward; to see if it in fact a card we must take action on.

Now looking at the Bounty Realm cards, specifically as we move on in the post Empires On The Rise meta game, we have to factor in the power of some of the game's earliest released Common cards. With that in mind, along with the frequent use of these 3 cards in the Meta Game, we must be forced to place these cards on this Watchlist. With no surprise the cards are "Replenishing Falls", "Welcome To Alburdunn", and "Second Chance" that need to be placed here on the Watchlist. They will be monitored very closely going forward to make sure we maintain the best health for the format as we march towards the release of Guardians' Creed and deeper into our Regional Qualifying season throughout this year!

We've gotten amazing opportunities post Empires On The Rise to really hone in on some of our skilled pilots playlines, and a fairly healthy, and diverse meta game a a result. However, upon continued monitoring of gameplay at the highest level so far, we have seen some reoccurring problem cards, that could potentially be a cause for some reoccurring concern as the meta game continues to develop further going into the release of Guardians' Creed. With that being said, we are at first placing them on the Watchlist, like other cards before, to continue to be transparent with the community of competitive Legions Players. We want everyone to know we take the consistent growth of Organized Play and Meta Game Health seriously.
