Dear Magnus,

Time is not on our side anymore...If you are reading this then I have long since left this world of existence and therefore must teach you from beyond the Void Hollow now.

However this does not mean all hope is lost.

The pages of my Spellbook will guide you...

Thaumaturgy is a gifted Elven Craft. One that I had to learn from my Father, like you must do from me now, through these Pages of my Spellbook. There have only been a few select individuals over the centuries that have been able to use this craft and they have all became high Elven Lords or Druids.

I believe you to have this ability...but damn it! You must focus!

The following spell will need a tincture potion to be mixed together in the tusk of an Armoured War-Boar.

You can find a hollowed out tusk amongst my things in my Apothecary.

Hurry, as you will need as much time as possible to gather this list of rare ingredients...

They are as follows:

A single Moongaze Beam
A pinch of Indigo Dust
A ripe Mandrake Root
A single tear of a Seraphim Angel
A drop of the Mystic Waters Of The Brackus

Can you find these rare ingredients?

...here are the following instructions:

Mix all ingredients together over an open flame at the altar in my Apothecary. Make sure to use a feather quill of the Raven Of Evermore...there is one next to The Book of Kings and Legends on the desk...you must be delicate. There is only one of those feathers left.

If you can prove yourself worthy of this task...the Spell Of Illumination will reveal more than just what is in the darkness, but what is hidden beyond the darkness....

Seek these rare ingredients or the individuals that may know of there whereabouts... and illuminate yourself my child...I sense the King Of Kingdoms does not have much time...

The deepest of Darkness is returning Magnus...you must hurry!
