The Delicate Axis

The Old World Saga: Chapter 4

With the decision still fresh in the minds of these all powerful Elysian Beings, a Majikal schism could not have helped, but become formed. The 4 Originals that stepped back into the darkness felt an emotion so very overwhelming for the first time in their short existence; fear.

Not fear for the power the 'Yinmatis Flame' would bring the Daughter Of Darkness and her followers, but instead fear for how they were to counteract that surge in power. For tipping of the scales of power had just taken place, and firmly needed a rebuttal, or all would surely be lost in a matter of time.

Treating each other as beings of equal power was a must for the 4 Originals that stepped further into the darkness. Corruption and suppression is bred from a power shift in the hierarchy of the once equals, and for the 4 that resisted, they made it very clear to each other that they did not also seek that outcome. But instead formed a Council Of Deities to which fate, future, and power were to be a shared responsibility. 

This Council knew the most important act that was to be done, was to prepare for the inevitable threat that was surely building by the fire of the 'Yinmatis Flame'. However, not truly knowing where to start, particularly as they found themselves wandering further into the shadows Obscurus Dusk; the Council looked to their own Majikal Powers respectfully, to see if they could conjure something to prove beneficial for the next steps to come.

Each looking inwards, in order to tap into their abundance of power they were created from, they all brought forth an inner light. A light so powerful, that when called upon in unison, illuminated their combined souls; and in that their visions of a greater Old World. A World in which they can live and function independently, yet be united through a bond of a greater purpose - Balance!

In this Balance...

One Original found that His Majik gave Him the access to Knowledge, and the continued thirst for it!

One Original found that His Majik gave Him the access to Order, and the continued need for it!

One Original found that His Majik gave Him the access to Dreams, and the continued creation of them!

One Original found that Her Majik gave Her access to the Elements, and the continued manipulation of them! 

Through this powerful Balance of Knowledge, Order, Dreams, and the Elements, the Axis Of Good was defined; and would be the very foundation to which each of their corresponding Realms would be built upon for future generations.

Without a doubt in their minds however, they could not be native in thinking that the Axis Of Evil would have found a similar way to shape their hierarchy of powers as well...    

Actions have consequences, as they learned from their ill-fated predecessors; and this early formation of The Delicate Axis of Good and Evil would most definitely have them as well. Only time would tell, what would be in store for these great beings of power! But one thing was most certain, that it will all eventually mean War!
